We try to collect as little as possible. When you donate or sign up to volunteer, we ask only for the information we actually need to process that action.

• Your name and email — so we can address you and acknowledge your donation.
• Your phone number, optionally — so a real person can reach you within 24 hours.
• Donation details (amount, frequency, payment instrument) — to keep our books auditable.
• Your city, optionally — for our anonymised geographic dashboard.

We do not use third-party trackers to follow you across the web. We do not buy or sell lists. We do not run advertising trackers.

Your data is used only to deliver what you asked us for — your donation acknowledgement, your volunteer confirmation — and to keep our books auditable.

• To process donations and acknowledge them.
• To respond to volunteer or partnership enquiries.
• To comply with statutory reporting (Societies Registration Act).

We share donor information only with two categories of parties: payment processors (to settle the transaction) and statutory bodies (where required by law). We never share information with other charities or marketing partners.

Donation records are retained for eight years to satisfy Income Tax Department requirements. Volunteer enquiries are kept for two years from your last interaction.

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Write to skepursociety@gmail.com and a real person will reply within seven working days. Where deletion would breach our statutory record-keeping obligations, we will explain which records we must retain and why.

This site uses one cookie — a session cookie — only when you initiate a donation. It is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or any third-party trackers.
