Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember a piece of information between page loads — for example, that you are signed in, or that you added an item to your cart. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics, advertising, or personalisation.

SKEPURS uses cookies and similar storage strictly to make the site work. We don't use them for advertising, retargeting, or selling data to third parties. The categories below are the only ones present on this site:

• Authentication — a session token stored after you sign in to /account or /admin. Without it, you'd be signed out on every page load.
• Cart — the items you've added to your shop cart are stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie, but the same idea) so the cart survives a page refresh.
• CSRF protection — a short-lived token used by forms (donate, contact, volunteer) to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.

We do not currently run any third-party analytics, advertising, social-media, or marketing pixels on this website. That means:

• No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no TikTok pixel.
• No retargeting cookies — we don't follow you around the internet after a visit.
• No data sold to data brokers.
• No cross-site tracking by third parties on this domain.

Because we only use essential cookies, there is no consent banner — there is nothing optional to opt out of. If you still want to clear or block them, every modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave) lets you do this in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may break the cart and checkout.

If SKEPURS ever adds analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential cookies, we will update this page first and add a clear consent banner with an opt-in for those categories. We will not silently start tracking you.
